Yes,
that's me there on the left.
Mind
you, taken a long, long time ago - as I have just reached
retirement age. I actually don't have many photo's of myself,
I suppose because I'm basically just not photogenic enough.
My
tastes in music are fairly quiet, mainly anything pre 1980's,
and quite a few "popular" classics. The rap and
thump, thump music of today is definitely not my cup of
tea.
I
still work full time in a factory, which keeps me both mentally
and physically fit. I've seen too many people who retire,
and through lack of any other interest or hobby, just seem
to fade away.
I
have a fairly strong natural artistic streak, but just don't
seem to find the time to do any painting. The only painting
done involves decorating and renovations, which I enjoy.
As a side hobby, I have done some renovations for friends,
some of which you can see in the gallery. I also enjoy woodworking,
but again, through lack of time, I just don't spend enough
hours at it. I am very particular about quality workmanship
in almost anything I do.
My
greatest achievement - building my Lamborghini Countach
replica from scratch. I actually retired for 4.1/2 years
to build it, so this is why the largest section of my gallery
is devoted to "The Beast".
Married
twice, two sons of my own, and I think between us, we have
something like eleven grandchildren.
This
is my first attempt at a web site, so please bear with me.
Enjoy.
